1) Pine caskets:

I currently have four of these available. Constructed from locally and sustainably sourced red pine, these simple yet elegant caskets are unlined and unfinished, for a understated, ecologically-minded, and cost-effective burial. Each casket has four natural jute rope handles; interior dimensions are 75″ long x 24″ wide x  13″ deep. The lid is full detachable (is not hinged or otherwise attached), and registers to the casket box with four dowel pins.

Cost is $900 per casket; local delivery (under 50 miles from 13864) is possible for an additional fee. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or to purchase. I do not ship these, sorry.

2) Matching cherry table set:

These two tables were built as a prototype of a design I developed some years ago. The initial design was influenced by an image I saw in an early issue of Fine Woodworking magazine, which I found striking enough to save and later adapt to my own aesthetic. Solid cherry throughout, with very nicely figured lumber used for the tops. Each table has an open low shelf. Finish is a thin, hand-applied polyurethane—just enough for protection without obscuring the feel of the grain and natural look of the wood itself.

Dimensions are 24″ wide x 18.75″ deep x 31″ tall. Price is $1900 each, or both for $3600. Local delivery (in the vicinity of Ithaca, New York) is possible for an additional fee; alternatively, shipping is possible, which will include additional fees for crating/handling, shipping, and insurance (all to be determined at time of sale).
